ChessConquest lets users request deletion of account data associated with ChessConquest, including accounts created or accessed using Facebook Login. ChessConquest is operated by Zoclee (Pty) Ltd.
How to Request Deletion
- Email [email protected].
- Use the subject line "ChessConquest Data Deletion Request".
- Include the ChessConquest username or email address linked to your account.
- If you used Facebook Login, include the Facebook email address used for ChessConquest if it is different from your ChessConquest email address.
We will verify that you control the account before deleting or anonymizing eligible account information. We may ask for additional confirmation if the request cannot be matched to an account.
Remove ChessConquest from Facebook
You can also remove ChessConquest from your Facebook account:
- Open Facebook.
- Go to Settings and privacy, then Settings.
- Open Apps and websites.
- Select ChessConquest.
- Choose Remove.
Removing ChessConquest from Facebook stops future Facebook Login access, but it does not automatically delete your ChessConquest account data. To delete ChessConquest account data, send the deletion request email described above.
What We Delete
After verification, we will delete or anonymize eligible personal account information, such as your email address, authentication identifiers, profile details, and profile picture where applicable. Some historical game, tournament, rating, ranking, forum, message, security, and audit records may be retained where needed to preserve service integrity, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
Response Time
We aim to review deletion requests within 30 days. If a request is complex or cannot be verified, we may need more time or additional information.
