In case it is not known by every player, you can make moves within a day or two. You don't have to wait until the time limit nearly expires. I opted for the 3, 5, and 7 days because there aren't enough games to keep me happy with this site.

For some like me who have loved chess for years, who like being in several games, but am not chess genius enough to immediately know the best moves against many fine players here, and work crazy hours often getting called away while pondering, the 3, 5 and 7 days thing keeps us from saying adios.

Not being held against one's will goes without saying. But the flexibility makes choosing to stay much easier. Credits to Yotta and Vasyl for a fine site.
