Is there somewhere i can see how this is determined? Dont get me wrong i know where i stand and that im an average player but........recently i won a game against valirin(sp) im 910 he's like 1600. I received 8 pts. I just claimed a timeout against OPT maybe. Im 927 he was 1099. I received 25 pts. Where is the corralation? Just trying to understand.

The points are calculated using the same formula that FIDE (international chess federating) uses. If you like I can post the formula here?

Sorry, maybe I expressed myself incorrectly... timing out is just a normal loss... there is no additional penalty on a timeout...
